In a medium sized bowl, whisk milk, egg and melted butter. Set aside.
In a large bowl, add the flour, baking powder, salt and brown sugar. Make a well in the center and pour in the wet ingredients and mix just until smooth- Do not over mix.
Heat a griddle or frying pan over medium high heat. Rub a generous amount of butter or oil on surface.
Using a ¼ cup measuring cup, pour the batter onto the hot griddle.
Arrange blueberries on top. Cook until golden brown and air bubbles appear on the surface. Flip and cook until the other side is golden brown as well.
Remove to a plate and repeat with the remaining batter.
