Instructions
Prepare vegetables β Slice all vegetables and set aside in separate bowls for fast cooking.
Build the flavor base β In a wide sautΓ© pan, add vinegar, sugar, pimento berries, thyme, and hot pepper. Cook 1 minute over low heat.
Add garlic β Stir in garlic and cook 30 seconds without browning.
Add bell peppers β Add red, green, and yellow peppers; stir-fry 1 minute.
Add cabbage and seasonings β Add cabbage, scallions, salt, and black pepper; toss to coat evenly.
Finish with butter or oil β Add butter or oil and stir-fry 3 minutes until cabbage is crisp-tender.
Taste & serve β Adjust seasoning and remove from heat immediately.
