Slice steak thinly. In a small bowl mix 6 tbs soy sauce, sugar, 1 tablespoon minced garlic and 1 tbs ginger, sesame oil and cornstarch(if using). Set this mixture aside.
Season steak with 2 tbs soy sauce, 1 tbs minced garlic, 1 tbs minced ginger, 1 1/2 tsp baking soda and green seasoning
Next, blanch or steam the broccoli and carrots until they’re crisp tender. Drain and set them aside.
Heat oil in a wide saucepan or wok over high heat, add 1/2 beef and sear/stir fry until fully cooked. Move to a plate and repeat with the remaining beef. Set aside.
Add more oil to the pan, and stir fry the broccoli, carrots, bell pepper, onion and scallion on high for about for 3 mins. Then pour in soy sauce mixture and stir everything together.
Add the cooked beef back into the pan and stir well to combine.
