Barfi

What is Barfi?
Definition: A sweet, dense dessert made from powdered milk, cream, spices, and sugar syrup. It is one of the sweets served in a bag of parsad which is distributed after poojas or prayers, at Weddings or other Hindu celebrations.
History: Popularized by Indo-Trinidadians, especially around Diwali or Divali.
