Looking for a quick Saturday meal? Here’s a quick stir fry to save the day! This 15 min beef stir fry is one of my top 5 go to meals when we need a quick homemade meal. The ingredients are simple and it all comes together very quickly.
You can enjoy this beef stir fry without any guilt with only clean ingredients –and no need to spend money on takeout. This recipe uses min ingredients but you can add soy sauce and or oyster sauce to add a twist! By using shaved steak you cut down cooking time to mere mins!
If you don’t eat steak, substitute with thinly sliced chicken or other protein!
Eat with freshly steamed jasmine rice or sandwich roll.

Ingredients
- 4 oz steak shaved or thinly sliced
- 6 tbs extra virgin olive oil divided
- 3 tbsp green seasoning divided
- 1 large onion sliced
- 1/2 red bell pepper
- 1/2 yellow or orange bell pepper
- 6 cloves garlic minced or sliced
- Sliced ginger optional
- 4 scallions sliced
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Soy Sauce and or oyster sauce, optional
- 2 tbs Sesame oil toasted
Instructions
- Heat 4 tbs oil in a wide sauté pan over high heat. Add steak in a single layer. Cook in two batches if your pan is not large enough. Cook until brown and flip and cook the other side. Season with salt, pepper and green seasoning and mix well to combine. Repeat with the second batch. Takes about 5 minutes total. Remove from the pot to a plate.
- Add another 2 tbs oil to the pot. Once hot, add in the remainder of the ingredients –onion, bell pepper, garlic, ginger, if using and scallions and mix well. Cook for 2 mins and return the steak to the pot. Toss well to combine. Season with salt and pepper, sesame or soy sauce and/or oyster sauce if using.
- Serve hot over rice.
