CRISPY BANG BANG SHRIMP WITH SAUCE

CRISPY BANG BANG SHRIMP WITH SAUCE

My daughters demand delicious and trending so Mommy has to deliver. Not easy being a mom nowadays!! Who agrees?

This is my take on bang bang shrimp which is hugely popular on social media.

Crispy fried shrimp with a spicy mayo sauce is the perfect snack or appetizer to satisfy the family or accompany you on game day or during those Netflix marathons —or not.

The cleaned shrimp is seasoned with pantry staples including garlic, oregano, onion powder, paprika, chili powder, salt and pepper. Marinating is optional. A batter is made with the same seasonings, flour and water and the shrimp is mixed in until fully coated. This allows the panko bread crumbs to stick to the shrimp, creating that crispy, crunchy texture when fried.

If you do not like frying in oil, the air fryer is a great option. Please check the video for the temperature, time and to see the final results.

HOPE YOU ENJOY. IF YOU TRY THIS RECIPE AND LOVED IT, PLEASE CONSIDER LEAVING YOUR RATING BELOW AND ON YOU TUBE. THANKS!
