OVEN ROASTED LAMB CHOPS
Ingredients
- Lamb chops 3-4 pieces, about 3.5 lbs
- 2 tsp Himalayan Salt
- 1 tsp Black pepper
- 1 tbsp Dried Oregano
- 1 tsp roasted ground cumin
- 2 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tsp Onion powder
- 1 lemon juiced
- 2 tbsp extra virgin Olive oil
- BBQ sauce optional
Instructions
- Preheat the broiler on high heat.
- Season the lamb chops with salt and black pepper and the remaining ingredients.
- Drizzle the juice of a lemon and a little olive oil over the lamb chops and use your hands to coat them evenly.
- Place the lamb chops in a single layer on a broiler pan or a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil or parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- Put the pan in the oven directly under the broiler (about 8 inches) and cook the lamb chops for 8-10 minutes on each side for medium-well, or longer if you prefer them well-done. Make sure to keep an eye on the lamb chops while they're cooking to prevent them from burning or overcooking.
- If you wish to make the BBQ version, brush with your favorite bbq sauce towards the end of cooking and place it back under the broiler for 1-2 minutes on each side.
- Once the lamb chops are cooked to your liking, remove them from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Enjoy your delicious oven-roasted lamb chops!
