Winter takes a toll on my body, leaving me down, exhausted, and in a slump. I recently discovered the benefits of consuming liver and added it to my diet with much success. I saw a vast improvement in my mood, energy, and overall well-being.
It’s easy to eat liver with this delicious recipe. One will never know that we are practically eating ‘medicine’.
According to WebMD, Liver is one of the most nutritionally dense foods on the planet, with significant amounts of iron, riboflavin, vitamin B12, vitamin A, and copper. Eating a single serving of liver can help you meet your daily recommended amount of most of these vitamins and minerals, reducing your risk of nutrient deficiency.
In this recipe, the liver is cooked with other healthy ingredients, including turmeric, black pepper, geera, olive oil, onions, and tomatoes. I also added a touch of thyme and oregano. It’s really a superpower meal.
Use any type of liver—chicken, beef, etc.
You can eat this with roasted vegetables on the side for a low-carb meal or with roti, white rice, brown rice, steamed jasmine rice, quinoa, black rice, or wild rice.
Sourcing the best ingredients is very important to me. I have done my research, decided on the following farm, and have been enjoying their products for a while now–Click the Link to access. Most importantly, I feel the results in my body when I eat grass-fed liver from there:
