  • Slice steak thinly. In a small bowl mix 6 tbs soy sauce, sugar, 1 tablespoon minced garlic and 1 tbs ginger, sesame oil and cornstarch(if using). Set this mixture aside.
  • Season steak with 2 tbs soy sauce, 1 tbs minced garlic, 1 tbs minced ginger, 1 1/2 tsp baking soda and green seasoning
  • Next, blanch or steam the broccoli and carrots until they’re crisp tender. Drain and set them aside.
  • Heat oil in a wide saucepan or wok over high heat, add 1/2 beef and sear/stir fry until fully cooked. Move to a plate and repeat with the remaining beef. Set aside.
  • Add more oil to the pan, and stir fry the broccoli, carrots, bell pepper, onion and scallion on high for about for 3 mins. Then pour in soy sauce mixture and stir everything together.
  • Add the cooked beef back into the pan and stir well to combine.
